# Why can't the "Choice Component" be categorized?

I have a choice that I want to categorize so that the user identifies an option 1 from an option 2  
But, not having the “group by” I find myself needing to use several choices components.

That is, if I have 20 categories, I need 20 choice components.

Doesn’t filtering work for this?

You can filter choice components so only show the choices that belong to X category.

Unless, I’m failing to understand your issue.

I am referring to the “group by” option, not the “filter” option.
