# why can't copy text on iPhone in glide application?

What component are you trying to copy the text from? Does that work on desktop?

Rich text. It doesent work on desktop

I don’t think I have ever been able to copy from a rich text component. A way to make this work is to have a “copy to clipboard” action and point it to the column you want people to copy. It doesn’t allow copying just parts of the text, obviously.
