# Why asking for name when sign in?

why asking for name when signing in? plus this is random, sometimes is asking, sometimes is not, and after entering name, i have no idea where tis name goes… not in Users names!

i get it when you live a comment… but when sign in, should be an option that i decide if to put.

I believe the name is used when leaving a comment or via chat. I also believe it requests name when you do something that requires to sign in (favorite).
