# When i create a button to edit, can I stamp with user who made the edit and date and time stamp?

I have an edit button component and want to know who made the edit and when they made the edit… is it possible to add these actions and how? Thanks in advance for any help 👍

Never mind… figured it out… for other trying to figure it out, use the action button in the button block tab

If you’re opening the edit screen from that action, you can use a set column action to the same row to set the values you want, as part of the **on-submit action** (not the action when you open the edit screen).
