# When does a collection that is randomly sorted, refresh?

Hey folks!

I am working with a client who swears that the collection she was viewing (that is set to sort randomly) used to resort every time she navigated to the page but now it only re-sorts when refreshing the page.

I thought I saw this behavior too. I remember clicking into a collection item and then going back to the collection via the breadcrumb and it was resorted again.

Let me know! I want to make sure I am communicating the actual, intended behavior with the client.
