# What is causing the high edits?

Is it possible to see which table or column is resulting in high update? I am seeing an abnormally high amount of edits for my app.

It’s most likely a user specific column that users are using for filtering or a custom form.

We desperately need [this](https://community.glideapps.com/t/session-variable-column/40260?)

It doesn’t have enough votes, but I had to completely restructure my app to avoid updates, and it ruined the user experience.

With no visibility into what is causing this, this is really difficult to solve, especially in complicated apps. Does support have the ability to look into and provide this information?
