I have some videos on Google Drive that I linked on the app. However some videos don’t play at all. The ones that can play are downloadable even though the G-Drive settings are set as ‘viewers cannot download’…
No typos in the links.
I re-uploaded the videos to G-Drive and got new links with the settings already set to stop downloads but still no difference.

Google Drive can not stop downloads, from what I know only Vimeo offer that type of service.
