I would like the ability to create vanity URLs or custom slugs for user profiles in Glide apps. Instead of the current URLs that use Row IDs (e.g., `/d/rowid` ), I’d like to create and share public profile links like `/username` , making it easier for users to share and remember their profile links (e.g., `myapp.glide.page/mike` ). This feature is important for social, portfolio, and directory apps where users expect clean, personalized web addresses for their profiles. The ROW ID current solution is clunky and will harm my user adoption. I know I can share QR codes etc but in 2025 people expect a personalised friendly URL. ---

If you leverage [short.io](http://short.io) with a custom domain, this can be achieved.
