# UUID & v formats for reindexing Data and Compatibility with external databases

Hi Team,

I’m addressing compatibility issues to transfer part of my Glide Tables to an external data source. While I’ve moved some tables, I need to maintain the IDRow key relationships. What method and UUID version is your IDRow generator based on? Can you provide the standard method and UUID version/type for the IDRow index to help identify compatibility issues with my external tool?
