# Using the same Image Link in multiple apps

A question about data and lookup speed - If I have images in App A, and want to use the same images in App B, and these images have been uploaded in the Glide system (hosted images), is it a better practice to use the same links from App A or to re-upload the images via the database in App B? Or does it even make a difference if they are all hosted images?  
I would prefer not to have to upload them a second time, but if it slows down the lookup/display time then I will do that.
