# User request to join a group

How do you build in which a user has to get permission to join a group, and once accepted gain access to the group. Right now I have formed the request and the group however I have to manual click the boolean to add them to the group. In my efforts to automate this has failed because functionality limitations or at least my understanding of them.

Isn’t the Boolean what access them into the group?

Adding to what Robert asked above, if you want to automate it, what rule do you want to use for them to be automatically accepted?
