# User Names Being changed to numbers

Hello, I’m running into a very curious issue where in my user table, the User names are being changed to numbers without my tampering(?) As the admin, I set it up so I’m the only one that can edit user information, I don’t know how that’s happening. Has any one else ran into this? If so, How can I ensure that the user names remain as they have been entered?

Open your Users table in the Glide Data Editor, click on the arrow by the User Name column heading, and select [Find Uses](https://www.glideapps.com/docs/getting-started/introduction-to-the-data-editor#find-uses). You’ll see a list appear in the right hand panel. Check through the list for any Actions that might be writing to that column.
