I think the topic title explains it all 🙂
But yeah, will it be possible in the future to upload an image or file via the Glide API and get the corresponding GCS URL?

I asked that question shortly after the API was made available. The answer I got at the time was something along the lines of “No, the API doesn’t support loading images”. But there was no indication given as to whether it might support it in future.

Yeah, I would like this feature as well 👍

Question, since a link is exposed in the Glide tables we can at least send that, correct?

Yes, and that’s what I currently do. But the image remains hosted outside of Glide.

hey guys
Sorry, but for me it would be basic to have this function via API
As a business plan, with a quota of 500GB of space, you will be limited to uploading only through users
It makes no sense not to have this API, this greatly limits the development of integrations
thanks

Reopening this request. Now that Glide API has become much more sophisticated, it would be brilliant to provide an API that allows us to upload files directly to Glides cloud storage and return the URL. This way we can keep everything in house so we don’t have to rely on external storage solutions like Google Drive or Dropbox 🤢

Please vote!

It would make mass data upload so much easier, examples being photos of employees/vehicles. It’s fine adding 1 by 1 via button actions when there’s 50 of them, but when there’s a spreadsheet with 1000 it becomes a bit tedious.
