# Update Stripe widget to support Sales Tax, VAT & GST compliance

Since [Stripe acquired TaxJar](https://stripe.com/newsroom/news/taxjar) in 2021, Stripe can now support sales tax, VAT & GST calculations. Can the Stripe Checkout widget/Buy Button be updated so Glide users don’t have to worry or attempt manual calculations? There are more than 11,000 different sales tax jurisdictions in the United States alone, applicable to online commerce.
