# Update in real time

Hi Glide, I wanted to see Is there a way for the content to be viewed almost in real time? without having to exit and enter the application each time to update content?

It depends what the content is, and where it’s coming from.  
Changes made in Glide should be visible immediately, but if data needs to sync with external sources such as Google Sheets there will always be a delay. It should never be necessary to restart the application though.
