# Unable to select media due to denied permissions

Hi,

I have developed an app where I want to upload some photos and I get the error above whenever I try to update existing images or when adding image to a record.

This works on the Glide site where I am developing the app but not on my Google pixel phone

Sounds like you haven’t granted access for your browser to be able to access the files on your device. That’s a setting on your phone. You will have to adjust the permissions for the browser app to allow it to access your file system.

It depends on the type of phone, the OS version, and which browser you are using. A quick google search can usually tell you how to adjust the OS app permission settings.
