# Translating credit to operational costs

For teams that have deployed GlideOS - any insights into the translation of operational costs (rows, columns, activity, networking, other hosting) into actual monies paid? I do not see how running a GlideApp translates into payment for the GlideApp. Building it is obvious - buy credits - build app with credits.

Running it is a bit more mysterious. Glide has sneakily developed a world-class back-end/hosting infrastructure but no clue how it is priced/valued.

That would be a fascinating little thing to know! And most likely you will find out after spending quite bit of time and money developing your project.
