# Transfer google sheets to airtable

we have a huge data in google sheets, due to that some components work very slow. Is there any way to transfer data from google sheets to airtable.

Hi Nitin,

You can import your google sheet when creating the table inside your base.

When you click the plus icon to add a table select Import from Google sheet

and connect your google account if you haven’t.

And select that account ( my one is My Sheets ) from the drop down and select the sheet you want to add.

Airtable will not be faster than Google Sheets. For best performance, use Glide Tables.
