# Top Status Bar Rendering White in Dark Mode on Android (PWA)

**Description**  
When the app is saved to the Android home screen as a PWA, the status bar area defaults to a white background while the system icons remain white, leaving only dark text (like battery percentage) visible.

**Technical Cause:** The PWA `theme_color` meta tag in the app header is not updating dynamically to match the dark theme background color on Android devices.

Anyone else again seeing a washed out top **White Header** bar on **Android** devices in their installed apps? Where the clock and battery status display it should match the app’s accent color.

@NoCodeAndy This has occurred in previous Glide updates. It does not occur on Apple iPhones, just Android.

Happening in “Light Mode” as well on Android (not just Dark Mode).
