Hey everyone!

I am trying to work on an app to use at work (work in aviation) that will convert time.

EG: If I want to see what 0500 UTC was in my time zone. Or when 1900 Tulsa (CDT) was in my time zone.

Im wracking my brain on how to do this. An idea would be to get the UTC offset, then do two calculations from there. In glide I could set up a simple form where the user will input the desired time, use a Choice component to select the desired time zone to convert to, then it would spit out the time in my time zone.

Any ideas on how to make this happen? 😕

Thanks!
Gavin

Hi Gavin,

You can get an idea from what Ray did here. Capture the time and the UTC, then do a calculation to fit your need.

Been hitting a wall with this, can’t find the solution on Google. here’s the error i get [image] I tried =text(A1,"#") but doesn’t seem to work. It spits out the same value with the leading zero “-07” I’m trying to do a calculation using a column of numbers that have been stripped out of a string eg. “-07” stripped from UTC-07

Feel free to ask us if you need help.
