It would be helpful for Glide to leave a greyed out placeholder that explains its a paid feature

This is not a bug, they made the ability to transfer apps restricted to paid plans starting today, so I changed the tag to #General .

That’s really unfortunate. So if we want to build an App in a free plan, we have to start from scratch every single time. I even tried to make a template in my free team, but template has no option to copy to another team. So what is the point of a template in a free team (which can only house one active App)? Sometimes the things they restrict to paid teams doesn’t make any practicle sense. You won’t force anybody to make a paid team, you’ll just push them away from Glide. My .01 cents.

@David_Gabler They loose the money on ability to moving apps to free teams. Because after you moved the apps, you can start business plan and repeate to infinite cycle…

It’s a Business trial, not a Free team by definition I think.
I don’t know how much guardrail Glide introduced to prevent that from happening before, but this might be one.

Yes, no one serious, but huge amount non serious. Just imagine one million non serious apps runing every month on business trials and continously migrating to new free-\> B trial. I mean every free team can became business trial.

Glide can allow us to transfer to atleast paid teams.
We can’t transfer to trial teams anyway.

It is already the case. And you can transfer in a trial team from an agency team only.

You can’t transfer from a Free team to any team.
I am asking to allow us to transfer from a Free Team to atleast a Paid Team.
