# The number of columns

Is there a limit to the number of columns the glide.app will recognize? Right now I have 78 columns, but the last 15 columns are not showing up as an option when adding a button.

Man, that is a lot of columns. Is it a DNA sequencing app?

Just kidding. I get lost when I have more than those lost 15 columns.

My largest sheet is 139 columns I believe. No problems here. Do you have empty unused columns in between? That can cause issues.

My app has some sheet 300 columns.

Still, what are the limits for the number of columns? Is there an exact answer to this question?
