# The ability to copy the app does not appear

This image is captured by an old app of mine, but in a recent new one this function does not appear.  
Has this feature been suppressed? Or is it a problem with my app?  
( 🤔 Or am I missing something?)

Hi @Roldy,

I believe the option to copy an app does not appear:

- if the app was built from an existing template
- or as Jeff suggested if an experimental column was used in one of the tables

I forgot that this is not possible when there are xc columns
