# Template Column and Email

I am using the template column to create the body of an email, “Email Body”. One of the template column items is the Notes component. When I edit the note and send an email using the “Email Body” template column. The “Email Body” template does not update the Notes component. Is this a bug? A reloading issue? Or something else that causes the Note component item to not update in the email.

It may be a reloading issue. It just updated when I was about to hit Create Topic.  
Has anyone had this issue? How long does it take for the template to update?

It’s my understanding that the template column should be updated instantly whenever another value changes. I can’t think of a reason why it would have had a delay in your case. Is it still a problem?
