# Task Reminder via google calendar (Workaround)

Hi Guys,

I am not sure wether other knew it or not. I thought I’ll put it out. If anyone finds it useful

**Problem Statement: Create a google calendar reminder to notify task owner about the task due date and time.**

Had been grappling with this problem for sometime.

**Solution.**

Used Google Calendar integration →

When a task creation submit button is clicked I created a custom action Which triggers google calendar integration.

Set the values in it for Task Name, Task Description,

**I set the Start date to be “Task Due Date and time” from my task table**

In the “Attendees” section I input the email ID of the Task owner who needs to be notified.

It will send an email invite and also send in notification 10 minutes before the due date.

its a workaround I did. Hope it’ll help someone.
