# Tab/button icon: long delays to display selection box?

I’ve notice this for a while now, I’m not sure if it’s a few days or a few weeks: is anyone else experiencing very long delays when wanting to change the icon for tabs or buttons in the builder? Is it Glide or am I low on memory? It used to be snappy.

I suspect it’s more about your computer/browser than anything to do with Glide.  
I just did a quick test. The first time I open the icon selector, there is a very slight delay (less than a second) as all the icons are loaded. After that it’s instant - presumably because it’s been cached.

If you’re getting long delays when it’s loading, my guess would be that you’re running low on caching memory. Are you on Mac or PC? On Mac you can use the Activity Monitor to see where all your memory is going. Not sure about PC/Windows, I’d expect there is some equivalent - Control Panel? 🤔

Same thing for me here, Chrome on Mac.
