# Stripe test payments

Hi

Is there any way to test stripe payments. I want to check if the payment functionality of my app works.

usually i would use a dummy card number like 4242424242424242 ([from the stripe site](https://stripe.com/docs/testing))

But that doesn’t seem to work.

Any ideas?
