# Stripe stopped working

Did stripe stop working in the migrated apps. The Place Order button will not become selectable after the credit card information is entered.

Yes. Up until about yesterday they were working. Trying to confirm if me moving to the upgraded framework just became a must do because I’ve been porting my app (rebuildign it actually) but hadn’t gone live with it. Then yesterday noticed that my customer couldnt make a purchase.

Unfortunately Classic apps are not supported anymore so unlikely you can get anything from support. I guess publishing the new version of the app is the best choice for you.

Yes, but I was looking for confirmation that they did something to the backend specifically in that timeframe that has broken that feature.

Any word on the “automatic” converter from Classic to new Apps? I have one (my main app) that has too many screens to redo one by one. It’s not a complex App, but the work that went into it is formidable. I’ll just do it in ReTool if I have to manually do it.
I’ve already re-done 90% of my one-up Apps and moved them into Free Teams. The only one I’ve not moved is because it has some nice CSS to animate the background and I’m gonna hold out on that one as long as possible.

I don’t know this for a fact, but I seriously doubt that we’ll ever see this.

The last word I heard from someone at Glide was that they were still working on it, but that was several months ago and I was just wondering if anyone else had heard anything.

CSS is not supported in free. This is one of my minor apps. The primary app has no CSS.
