I need to go from this “[http://www.careers.northropgrumman.com/](http://www.careers.northropgrumman.com/)” or this “[https://www.northropgrumman.com/](https://www.northropgrumman.com/)” to “[northropgrumman.com](http://northropgrumman.com)”. I need just the domain name.

I have been looking at Glide compute column for text and can’t figure out how to extract everything between the last / and the second ‘.’ to get the domain name.

Thoughts?? TIA !

Use the [Extract Matching Text](https://www.glideapps.com/plugins/regex) plugin with the following regular expression:

```auto
.*\://(?:www.)?([^\/]+)
```

Better yet, just use the “Get Part of URL” column type and use the word “host” for the parameter.
