# Start actions using trigger from outside

Hi, the missing feature of triggering actions using an outside event is very very limiting.  
Triggering actions only by components is not enough at all.  
Do you know if Glide is doing something to implement this feature?  
We are building Business Apps and I cannot really imagine creating such apps without the possibility of receiving events from other business tool/app/webhook to start actions in Glide apps.

There’s already a vote for his. I agree though, hopefully this functionality will be added soon.
