# Sort Kanban columns

Hi ,  
There is a “Save order” feature but it allows to sort only items on each column.  
Can I sort Kanban columns ?

In my case,  
1- Approuvé  
2- Facturé  
3- Réglé

Hello zephir I think this should work

On the Kanban component view:

1. In custom groups (right above the configuration section) select add new
2. Add 3 new groups
3. You should see uncategorised clear that set it to custom.
4. Write the exact text  
e.g In the first group write Approuvé  
In the second write Facturé  
In the third write Régle

Leave the right input empty

This should work

Several datas are missing. several custom groups are not displayed.

I think what you mean is under each column, you want to sort by the status you listed? I don’t think you can do that as of now, though it would be nice to have it as a “default” sort before the “order” part (which allows users to drag cards) kicks in.

Your custom groups are set up wrong. Write the name of each group in the left field instead of selecting a column. Also clear out the right field unless you want a description for each group that is different than the value that is written when a card is moved. Basically, swap the right field with the left, but leave the right blank.
