# Solved: Button will not populate on View Details page

I am able to add a button on the view details page via the panel on the right. However, the button does not visibly show up on the app page itself.

Has anyone else experienced this before? Is this a bug or user error? What is the resolution?

What action do you tie with the button? Have you tried refreshing the page to see if it comes up?

It was related to the action. When I changed the button action the button appeared. Thank you!
