# Sign-in screen \> Branding \> Background \> Overlay not working

I have uploaded a background in the Branding section of the Sign-in screen settings.  
I cannot see any difference between no overlay, gradient and full screen.

This is the gradient overlay 👇

Did you just make the change recently? It may take some minutes to sync back.

Can you send us the link of the app to test? Does this happen on all operation systems or just iOS, for example?

I wasn’t seeing it in the editor or in the app’s sign in screen on the web.

I decided to create my own overlay using a brand colour in the end so I no longer need to solve this.
