The app is set up with Public access and there is a button for people to sign in.
However, in the live version of the app, the sign-in button is not loading. I set up a hint component using the same visibility condition (user email is not empty), but that too isn’t loading.

Just tried it on iPhone running iOS 14.4.2
It works for me, not that this helps but maybe a local issue?
I experienced this on my PC, and on my iPhone.
It seems to have been resolved now.
So all good.
