# Side menu "X" button redirects to my Home Tab

Hi Team,

I am looking to adjust the following action.

When a user opens the side menu and then clicks “X”, they get redirected to my Home Page, regardless of what page was open right before.

Is this expected?

I noticed that if the user clicks on empty space, this doesn’t happen, and the app stays in the same tab.

I don’t believe that behaviour can be changed.
