# Set column value from a different data source

“Hi, I am a new user of the Glide App. How can I retrieve data from the ‘MASTER PRODUK’ using the ‘Set Column Value’ action? I have created a relation between the product code in ‘DATA ENTRI’ and ‘MASTER PRODUK’.”

Can you tell us what you’re trying to make/do? what is your use case here?

The set column value is an action that writes a value to a cell (row in a column) in the table.  
Here’s what it can do

The desired outcome: When the admin inputs the product code in the ‘DATA ENTRI’ form, I want to retrieve the price value from 'MASTER PRODUK

Alright, I made a video that explains this concept a bit more.  
In your case, the two identical values would be the product code
