# Send message to chat section by only admin

There is no chat component (though I’ve asked for one [We need a chat component](https://community.glideapps.com/t/we-need-a-chat-component/24645))

The chat tab that you’re referring to is an all user chat. If you want admins only, you’ll need to build one that leverages writing rows to a “announcements” sheet or the like.
