# Send email button

Hi community,

I would like to know if I have missed any steps or made it wrong. I created a “send email” button, but no emails have been sent. I then integrated my Gmail and created a “send Gmail button”, which was fine. I was wondering if the “to” section has to write the exact email address, instead of pointing it to the email column, please?

Does the run log provide any further information?

I would suggest deleting the action and try configuring it again? I ran into something like that a month ago, and only reconfiguring it helped.

If you click on the green ticks, you will see more details of each run including the data that was sent. This may provide further clues.
