# Selected choice not showing

Good day gliders…

I have a choice component that is not showing what I have chosen, yet if you view the destination table in the data editor, you will find that the selected item is indeed in the data table.

This misleads the users to think that nothing has been selected and hence keep trying. However, the selected value will no longer appear in the list of choices leaving the user even more confused.

Kindly help, what could i have done wrong?

Need more information. Show what your choices look like, and any filters you may have set on the choice component.
