# Search bar question

Is there a way to search for multiple items in the collection search bar.

For example, if I have a Name and I want to search for Ron or Harry I get no results (entering ‘Ron Harry’ or ‘Ron, Harry’). But if I search for ‘Ron’ or for ‘Harry’ - all good.

No, you’d have to roll your own search to get that functionality.

Darren - Glide searches are ‘free’ (no update charge) but wouldn’t a custom search require updating a user specific column and using that field as a query or filter to a relationship. Generally speaking. Would this cost me updates?
