# Save ID to other tabs

Hello all, I’m pretty new to glideapps so forgive any ignorance. 🙂.

I am working on a HR related app. I have the user logging in and displaying data by using an email address and a whitelist, but would like to carry additional info to other sheets using the entry forms. Each employee has an employee number, but they don’t necessarily know what that number is in most cases. I’d like to attach the employee number to the login, and then when they enter/save data it would save the employee number to the sheet as well as the login email address. This way they don’t need to know what it is.

Is this possible?

I would pre populate the temp ID in a col on the whitelist next to the email. Then you can use spreadsheet lookup or other was to bring it over to other sheets Tha have the email on them.
