# Row Owners slows the platform

I have found that when i select row owns, this dramatically slows the response time on the platform, we use filters to only show to roles that require, trying to make the platform more secure has made it impossible to use, Ive just added row owners to the user table only so far, but i have more i need to protect.

Pro subscription, 47 Sheets, 30 users, 3,000 rows.

LOVE the product, absolute game changer for our business!

So you’re saying when you add row owners, the loading time for all pages on your app/page product is worse? Is it only for the initial loading?
