# Row Owners.... and how Glide counts Rows (for billing, etc)

Question:

- if you use Row Owners, the users only see a subset of the rows in the environment…

So how does it work if:

- you have 100K rows in a User profile sheet
- 100K rows in an ‘TestFlow’
- and more bits and pieces

BUT using row owners, the row owner only sees:  
1 row in User Profiles (their own)  
1 row in TestFlow  
and then the rest

So, would this mega system count ALL the rows, or just the rows a user can access?

All the rows will be counted. Row Owners makes no difference.

Easy way to think of it is if a sheet or table is referenced anywhere in your app, then all rows in that sheet are counted.
