# Revision history - a mandatory feature

This platform NEEDS revision history as a feature.

Our project just lost a TON of data in the database before it could get a backup automation. This is most critical when using the Data Editor as the database.

To be honest Glide team, this is table stakes. Especially as a Pro customer. I can’t think of a single database platform that doesn’t have this. As you try to become more “vertically integrated” as a feature set, (i.e. less relaint on Google Sheets, Airtable, Xano), it’s all the more critical.

There are other features that would be nice additions, sure, but this is a must.

For sure. At the very least, an Undo feature.
