# Reusing "custom Actions"

If I create a custom action and gave it a name, please allow me to select it for another item on the same tab (and if possible, please allow me to use it across the app)

for example, I have a “View Item” action (that opens the details page but also increments the View count for that item - I would like to use the same action everywhere without needing to recreate multiple copies of the same action (especially on the same tab)
