# Request for Chart Colors

Please consider adding the option to **customize colors** for individual items in **line or bar charts** , or provide a selection of **predefined color palettes**. The current **auto-generated colors** can make charts with more than 3 to 5 data points **difficult to interpret**. Allowing users to **assign specific colors** or choose from **accessible palettes** would significantly enhance **readability** and **visual clarity**.

While using external tools like **[QuickChart.io](http://QuickChart.io)** is an option, there are times when a **native Glide Chart** is simply more **convenient** and **efficient**. This enhancement would make **Glide Charts** even more versatile and user-friendly.
