# Relation that excludes current value (for "similar" lists)

I’m trying to create a “similar vendors” list in one of my apps. The idea is to use a relation to display other vendors of the same category. The issue is that the current vendor is a matching value in the relation, so the “similar” list contains the current item too (not a huge deal, but where there’s only 1 or 2 in the category, it looks weird).
Has anyone encountered this or have an idea on how to exclude a current value from a relation or inline list?
