There should be an option for an email / username sign in rather than validation per device. My students have shared devices, and don’t always use the same one. This means I have to do a lot of work-around to make the app _feel_ like its personalized per user and makes things more difficult in general. Has this been considered as a feature?

I think if you make the app password only, then people can sign in through the menu sign-in method. The new sign-out menu item would then make it easy to switch users. I’m not 100% sure if this will work, but it might give you what you’re looking for.

Password only makes it so that there is one password for the whole app. I’m looking for unique passwords per user

Ah okay. My method above doesn’t use a password for the user, just their email address to log in. None of Glide has password entry anywhere, so it seems like it’s being avoided on purpose (likely due to security issues with having to save the plain text passwords in cells on the sheet somewhere).

> The best thing about the low-code aspects of Glide is the provision for high-level ways to do common things. Glide is terrific in the area of information presentation. I think Glide could be improved by adding a high-level mechanism to create the standard username/password mechanism used in most existing apps and applications. Currently, a developer needs to weave together several different lower-level mechanisms to achieve what is very commonly needed functionality. A single higher-level ab…
