Use a Text to Date column to convert the Templates to datetime, then you can use standard date math to determine the difference.

Why are you using templates to represent dates and times instead of datetime columns?

I’m using template, because I want to build in a field two values, they are: date and time, but time is just hour like a number integer, not decimals ☹ or have you other idea that I can work?

So you want the user to select Date and Time separately?

The below template might be of interest. It allows for separate date and time selection, but saves both Start datetime and End datetime as single datetime columns. You may be able to adapt the technique.
