# Push notification from event

Hi, the missing possibility to send push notifications based on an event (like a data update in a table) is very bad for me and my application. Sending push notification only connecting it to a component like a button is not enough for me. I need that, when I update a specific data in my Airtable connected table, GlideApps can send a push notification. Do you know if there is some way to do it?

At the moment, I don’t think there’s a way to do it without users interacting with a component in your Glide App.
